Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be added to armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and weapons. They provide an extra bonus or effect while the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors or other players, looted or obtained as a reward, or created using crafting materials. In addition to providing bonus points upgrades can also be cosmetically beneficial.
Upgrade components include inscriptions, enhancements and infusions. They aren't generally available for general use, and they can only be applied to ascended equipment or some non-ascended weapons from the Factions campaign. You can recover infusions or inscriptions, as well as enrichments from your equipment using an Extractor Device or by salvaging using the Black Lion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage tool.

Unlike other upgrade item s, Phoenix Boxes can be traded while still attached to the item they are upgrading, and can be re-used after being salvaged. These upgrade items can be used to increase the quality of armor and weapons without the expense of Dilithium. They can increase the chances that the item will receive a quality upgrade.
Upgrade components can be added to an item, but the previous one is destroyed (except for legendaries and upgraded equipment). Upgrade components are only available to upgraded items that have an identification level of zero or more. If you upgrade the weapon already equipped with a suffix or prefix upgrade the item will be referred to as it appears on the game screen (for instance, adding a Radiant insignia to Canthan Armor makes it Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). A player can own up to 3 upgrade items at once.
Glyphs
Glyphs are an excellent accessory to any item since they provide many unique benefits and boosts. Some glyphs can also increase the number of affixes that can be placed on an item, increasing its overall power. These glyphs are acquired by the completion of the dungeons. They can also be located in specific World Tier 3 zones. However, it's important to remember that glyphs can't be used on a character that hasn't created a root dungeon of the same depth.
To use a Glyph you first have to create it with components and then connect them via anchors. Then the component will automatically align itself to other components and paths in the same layer. If you don't want create the glyph using components, you can build it using a combination of paths and anchors. Then, drag an element near a highlighted component to secure it.
Some glyphs require certain conditions to be met, such as 25 Dexterity within a specific area on the Paragon Board. Some also require a certain number of Primary Stat nodes to be activated which is sometimes difficult to attain. Some glyphs have a radius that increases with each level.
Glyphs can be found on various items, and can be added to all weapons, with the exception for weapons of specific classes. Some of these glyphs also have conditions, such as having a certain amount of Dexterity or Attack damage in a particular area on the Paragon board.
The Defend Glyph increases the chance of preventing enemy attacks by five percent. It also has a 15% chance to render the Hero vulnerable for two turns.
There are also a few glyphs that could be applied to limited-use tools, such as the Black Lion Chest or Trading Post. Adding these glyphs will count towards the Combat Mechanic achievement.
The most commonly used glyphs in the game are the attack ones which boost Artifacts' ATK substats by a fixed amount. These glyphs are especially useful for classes that employ weapons that are ranged, like Warriors or Rogues. Other glyphs include the Exploit Glyph, which makes enemies who strike the Hero vulnerable to damage.
Reroll tokens
Reroll tokens are tokens that can be used to roll back one of the results when performing an Action. They are destroyed when the reroll happens. Reroll tokens can be obtained in many ways, including dungeons and raids, or by participating in skirmishes. You can also buy them in the store, or from other players. They are particularly useful in dungeons or trials, as they allow players to reroll rewards at the end of the chest.
The values for recycling points are provided for items that are at level 1. When an item is recycled, it will add a certain amount of points to the gauge of upgrade. This number is determined by both the item's rarity and level. The upgraded item will not be able to keep its level when rerolled and the cost of recycling an upgraded item increases as its level rises.
The player may also use reroll tokens in order to roll an item. However, this will not restore the item's original stats or levels. This is a great option for those who want to reroll an item or piece of equipment they don't like but want to keep in their collection.
Three types of upgrade coins are available in the game - Reroll, randomly generated and upgrade. Each type comes with its own subtypes. For instance, reroll tokens are available in three levels: rare, enhanced and legendary. Each requires an item from the appropriate level to create the new item with the same quality.
To use reroll tokens, right-click on the Satanic or Angelic item in inventory and select "Reroll Token". Select the type of token. The available tokens include Item Weapon, Misc, 1hgun, 2hgun and Focus. The Item token can be used to create a new Item in any quality. Using a Weapon or Misc token will result in an entirely new weapon belonging to the same faction.
There is also a possibility that the item will be upgraded to a new item with an increased level and the same extra stats. This will occur if the item is in the Pool that cannot be dropped or was transferred to it as part of the Franchise Card.
